I have a .dvd file and a .iso file but when I try to burn them i keep getting the 'insert this disc into a 360' error.

I've tried usin xbox backup creator and clonecd and img but they all seem to burn ok and none will play.

I'm using a pioneer 111d to burn them and Verbatim discs.
Any advice?

Good media and burner then it may be the image
How have you done the backup?
-for ss.bin which software & drive
-for game.iso which software & drive
-how was it merged
