I didn't even know there was a Shadowrun beta. I bet it's that 17+ crap! How do you get into the beta, and when was this beta even announced?

I found time to download it but havent had a chance to play it yet! Is it any good? graphics/gameplay?

gameplay is pretty sweet, lots of mods/tech to learn and incorperate into online gameplay.

i played a quick game of it earlier. it was pretty fun but i still dont know what everything does. also did anyone else have to wait about 2 hours for the 83KB patch to download?

this game is kinda like a magic counterstrike
it was pretty cool though playing a 7 v7 game

Game is definetely better than I expected, and I can see how the mouse and keyboard guys won't have an advantage, because your accuracy is pretty random within your reticle. I'm sure sniping will be easier with a mouse, since its already pretty smooth with a control pad. All in all, I'm pretty impressed so far, and this will most likely be a game I purchase at launch, to finally slow my R6 time.

This game is pretty sick, I did all the training but haven't jumped into a legit game yet.........I could see this pulling me away from Battlefield for a while...lol

The beta is closed at this point. As for info on patches, doubtful the servers were clogged, but the answers and reasons you are looking for are on the shadowrun forums

been playing alot of shadowrun, for everyone getting to play it, definately got hrough all the training tutorials, you will enjoy it 10x more.
