I'm selling a brand new xbox with one type s controller. It comes with a matrix mod chip
that is soldered (instead of using pogo pins) for maximum assurance that the mod works.
The xbox is brand new. I'm asking 280$ + shipping. I'm paypal verified and only accept paypal or cashier check/money order. Please no personal checks.
PM me if you have questions.
Edit :
Willing to go lower.... send me a PM and we can discuss it.

once you're opened it up, it's no longer considered new... just like a used machine, it has no warranty

erm.... I don't know about that. Esp. if you're dealing with console systems. Everything is considered "new" if you haven't used the system at all. I don't see how anyone can sell a "new" system with a modchip by your definition. You must open the console in order to put in the mod, and by the very nature of putting in a mod you destroy all warranty the system has. I don't think people here really care abouit their warranty since they are putting in mods, harddrives, even swapping the dvd drives.
Since you have a problem with this I will say the system is "99.99999999999%" new. Only opened to put in the mod.
