Hello

I managed to get my last 78 in to mode b using my 6421 card and slax with easy but now when slax advices "spinning up disc" and proceeds, I get to the prompt, I reset but the drive never goes into mode b?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here?

Try a diffrent port on the sata.
or
Take a look in to another process to get into modB

Make sure you hit eject when it says "spinning up disk"

I have tried a different port and tried ejecting when "spinning up disc" but to no effect.

Sometimes after "spinning up disc" it advises that "port is slow to respond, please wait" then it trys again but fails.

I know there is nothing with with the card as I am able to do other drives still without a prob.

With regards to other ways to get in to mode b, I thought slax was the only way for 78's?
