The yellowblanket tutorial is over at the Llamma forums I believe.

The Full Window tutorial is easy enough to follow from the description, though I do grant sometimes pics help a bit. wink.gif

Nevermind I just read it again and its easy enough, its basically just cutting a rectangle in your dvd drive, then cutting the plexi to the same size as the drive glueing the plastic insert on and glueing the plexi onto the drive. By the way if you buy your plexi from lowes bring your dimensions with you, they can cut it for you for 25 cents.

I had seen a ghost case that came with this little plastic clear holder piece. Is that something that's needed, or just for that setup? Cuz it looks like in the tutorial they arent putting the top of the DVD drive back on at all. See here --> http://www.rc-lights.com/xsizzle_install.swf

my apologies if posting such links is against the rules, just wanted to make sure people know exactly what Im talking about.

They are replacing the top half of the DVD drive with a clear plastic one. Notice how they are removing the small ring from the original DVD drive and using it on the clear plastic one.
