As for the future of the skin I can't think of anything that needs changing/fixing/adding as it's perfect in my eyes.

You know I saw this a few minutes after he posted it...but I thought...was hoping it was something to do with 9T9 particular brand of humor...but it been a few days now and its for real. Sorry to see you leave..but the skin you left behind is in my opinion one of the best alternatives to PMIII...it is original and has a novel side-bar concept. Thanks a lot for your contribution.

Hey I just want to say the skin looks freaking amazing I just downloaded it and can't wait to use it i just need to update my XBMC cause i have the one from last month and it doesn't want to use the skin but thank you for such an awesome skin (even though the original creator won't get my thx it is still amazing) or will my update not do anything because something went wrong with my download?

Well updating my XBMC fixed it and its a freaking amazing skin I love it i will def be using that skin for as long as I have the system. Thx bro.

What happend to the icon when you go into the folder did it get taken out on purpose or is it an option somewhere my box got struck by lightning and just now replaced it and i come and take a look and i learn that the whole VISION world has almost fallen apart :-( Anyways wideicon on the top whats the deal anyone?

You have the last t3ch build and not the current one which had a bug in it update or downgrade and it will be back but if you downgrade you will need to downgrade vision too

Is there a chance of seeing the horizontal wrap view similar to the one in Containment? That, in my own opinion is the sweetest view.

Hey, I noticed a few mis-alignments of text in the dialogs of the PM3 theme (don't know about the standard theme). One is in the Add Network Location, the other in Edit Smart Playlist. Woops, I was about to post a couple of screenshots, but it asks for a URL instead of letting me upload (not sure where to upload to). Anyways, it should be obvious if you look at them.

I'm using the latest XBMC T3CH release (9999), and the latest Vision release (899).

jezzx (if you still read this)... on the pm3 theme in 16:9 ratio the favorites text and icons don't show up at all...

Of Course I still read it As for pm3 theme the favourties works fine for me in all 16x9 rez see screenshots below

And as for the other mis alignment issues people have with pm3 theme I'm not worried about them to be honest as I don't like that theme its not what vision is about to me

PM3 is my favourite Vision theme. Especially with the RSS feed moved to the top to fill the grey bar at the top. And with the Blaze text.

do you think i have to start with a fresh userdata folder or something?... (something i hate doing) (i also tried putting in the new favourites.xml from the newest t3ch but that didn't fix it either, do i have to start with a new guisettings.xml or something?) any ideas?

what do i need to change in home.xml in order to stop the RSS feed from showing when a movie or music is playing? I think it looks cleaner with the rss disabled while media is playing.

I have no idea what you mean by the three "undermenu in the homescreen" but anyways, you can download the latest svn revision of the skin by using the program tortoisesvn and using the link to the Vision SVN from blackbolt's site.

I'm having trouble getting the skin to work. Previously I've just been using the very first Vision beta release (ages ago), but I looked at this forum and saw some nice images of coverflow-esque album browsing so decided it was time to get a new build of the Vision skin.

Used TortoiseSVN to download the lot from:

I got that link from Blackbolt homepage (I presumed it's the latest build version of Vision, since it was linked from Blackbolt's site).

Only thing is, once built (build.bat) I ftp to my xbox, switch to the skin but no fonts show at all :S ??

Bit confused, can anyone help me?

XBMC pre-2.1 (compiled Apr 15 2007)


extra note: I'd rather not have to upgrade to a newer build of XBMC -- but if I MUST, if that would solve it, I guess I will.

Just a few other vison skin questions I forgot to ask before:

1) I love Vision for the way it displays folder.jpg images very large on screen. Love it.
For instance a TV series, huge DVD cover art. Then you go into the folder, and I have created
.TBN files for each episode. My question is.. is it possible to make these TBN files bigger on the screen?

(I suspected at first, that perhaps the FOLDER.JPG file had larger dimensions than the .TBN files inside the folder, but when I checked the properties, actually, in some cases the .TBN files actually have larger dimensions.

Anyone know a way to increase the display size of the TBN's then?
(X-TV skin views the TBN's nice and large, large enough on my 28" 4:3 box to get a clear image of the video file it's associated with). - I've spent a looong time generating thumbs and I'd like to be able to see them in their glory.
( I wasn't sure if this was a skin-related Q or an XBMC one ).



2) The folder art for albums shows huge on the screen (using LIST view), love it. But the alignment of the art is slightly too far to the left of the screen for my liking, is it possible to move positioning of album art when browsing My Music?


3) Is it possible to increase the album art size on screen when in full-screen mode playing music? (also to increase the font size at this screen?)

...hi @ all, I have leeched the build from the Team blackbolt page with the SVN tool, I installed all correctly, but the theme dont show me the Weather Icon in the right upper corner, and when I set it to Blaze or Pink theme, nothing changed

Can ne1 help, does I have a wrong theme or an old one ???
