Used slax to get in mode B without any problems...

shows up in windows as L:


Tried to populate, change sata port (should work in port 1), etc... i always keep getting : ERROR: Hitachi drive build was NOT detected!

I finally managed to flash it MANUALLY. even if i kept getting erros with the program.

I dont feel like always doing a manual flash.

DONT TELL ME TO USE THE SEARCH ENGINE.. IM A FORUM MODERATOR MYSELF AND I KNOW HOW TO USE IT AND I DID... IVE READ 2-3 HOURS OF PPL HAVING PROBLEMS FLASHING. PEOPLE GAVE HYPOTHETIC SOLUTIONS BUT NOTHING CAME OUT OF IT PROOVING THE REAL WAY TO GET IT TO WORK.

Where do you have the X-LG folder? Is it embedded in a some folders with long filenames?

Try moving it to the root of c (c:\x-lg) or the root of any of your hdd's and run it from there.

This has been a common problem for a lot of people.
