Ok, I have a Hitachi 0078fk drive. I am trying to flash it with a friends PC. It has an Asus motherboard with built in SATA ports. The exact model, I'm not sure of. I try to run Slax 2.0 alpha1 or Slax 2.1 with no success. Slax 2.1 gives me a "not synching" error and 2.0 alpha 1 goes to a black screen and just stops. However, I can get Slax 1 LiveCD to run all the way up to the lgin screen, but it's not putting my drive in ModeB. What can I do to get this drive in ModeB?
