Hello everyone! I've used Xtreme Boot Maker 0.5.3 to create the firmware hack files on my C partition. Anyways, I've burned NTFS4DOS to a disk and booted it up on my computer. When I received the message reading "Select from Menu [0123], or press [ENTER - Singlestepping (F8) is: OFF", I clicked enter. Then when I received the message reading "Do you use this version of NTFS4DOS for private usage only?", I type "Yes" without the quotes followed by pressing enter. My question is, what do I do now to access MTKFlash or whatever? Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
Jason

As long as you change directorys to where xtreme boot maker laid out the files, you're good to go.
mtkflash r /m /sata orig.bin to backup original firmware
mtkflash w /m /sata x52x.bin to put new firmware on

I just changed the directory to the C partition by typing in "C:" without the quotes, then I typed in "cd XTREME" without the quotes. One more thing... Can't you just use the "xRead 1234567 12345" and "xFlash 1234567 12345" commands to back up the original firmware and install the hacked firmware? Thank you very much!

Also, I'm creating a new partition on my hard drive for Xtreme Boot Maker to copy the files to. How big should the partition be? Is 1 gigabyte good? Thank you very much!

Hello everyone! I'm using Xtreme Boot Maker 0.5.3 and Xtreme52 to hack the firmware of my TS-H943 ms25 DVD drive. When it asks to choose a drive, which do I choose from the following list?
  1. XTREME Pri Master
  2. XTREME Sec Master
  3. XTREME Pri Slave
  4. XTREME Sec Slave

Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
Jason
