I followed textbooks tutorial to flash the 78fk. I used the 4621a via chipset with 5.4 drivers. Everything went great. Just as it should have. I tried to put in the back up of gears of war and it gives me the error to put it in an xbox360. All the original games play. I am also not able to get the drive into mode b anymore. Any suggestions?
Thanks

No the backup has not been tested on any other system. I used a samsung drive to rip with kreon 8.1 and xbox backup creator. I used the the burn function on xbc. The media I am using is fuji DL+R burned with a pioneer 710D. Do you think it might work if I switch to verbatim?
Thanks
The error message is the white screen with black letters. It says something like to play this disc put it in an xbox 360. It is the screen that textbook shows in the 78 video tutorial before he flashes the drive.

I believe the 710D is the retail version of the 111D.

Try an Original, If it says the same thing, then your key is a wrong and you'd have to reflash. But Try the original as it could very well be the backup.

My original of gears of war, viva pinata, and burnout all play without any problem. Is there any reason that a 78fk would not go back into mode b after being flashed?
