I recently got the ring of death on my 360, error code 0102, and I was able to fix it using the towel method. I'm pretty sure this is only a temporary solution and I'm probably gonna do the heat gun trick soon. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening again? I heard something about Nyko Intercooler, but i've heard conflicting reports. I searched the forums but couldnt find anything concrete. Any suggestions?

Ring of death errors that a fixed with towel or heat gun come from bad solder joints... the Nyko cooler wont help with that.
There is no way to prevent it either...
