Shivering Isles is up and ready to be downloaded (as of some time Monday.) I have been playing a while already and noticed there was no post here about it. You have to go to "All Games" and scroll down to Oblivion and it is there. Hurry... before XBL goes down for maintenance!

please let us know how it is, i tried playin some oblivion the other day and couldnt get into it, as much as i loved it, hopefully this expansion pack has some new flava!!!

It definitely has a look much closer to Morrowind which is exactly what I wanted. It is excellent so far.

I downloaded it last night just before xbl went down.. the game would just lock up on the "loading new content" screen every time. So I cleared the cache and that removed all the game patches from my hdd. The game started up, but I cant access SI without the latest patch. MS are absolute morons to take xbl down today. I've been waiting since about 12am last night for it to be back up so I can get the damn patch. Bastards!

anybody having issues playing shivering isles today since live has been down? right before i start a game it says "this save relies on content that is no longer present" ... if i continue everthing is normal, but theres no indication of shivering isles. i verified all my content is still here and the "loading extra content" screen takes forever and a day now that i have shivering isles. i am signed into my profile locally.


nvm.. just found the prob.. gotta be on xbl to use the content... some kinda MS usage restriction..

There is no usage restriction.. I'm playing it right now and I'm not on xbl. You just have to get the latest patch for oblivion before you can play SI. After that sleep/wait for 24 hrs and u will get a quest update.

ok.. i wasnt able to play because you have to be signed into xbl when its first downloaded to verify your console.. after that you can play w/o being signed in. anyway its pretty fun so far.. good to play this game again.
