I have a non-solder mod chip in my box and recently its been working its way loose and i've had to reopen my box to realign the chip.

I'm wondering can i use the mod chip to get in a soft mod then remove the chip? I can ftp into my box and i also have a USB memory stick and connector but no access to save games, I've only ever been interested in using it as a media player.

Any one any suggestions as to the best way to achieve this or point me to tutorials ? ideally giving me the same functionality as a mod chip?

Ftp across your xbox drive c: to your PC, use kingroach's ndure 3.0 to patch the files, then copy them back to c: on your xbox. Now boot up with your chip disabled to test.
