Hello i have problem with the speed of the Backup, actually when i take a backup i am on 0.7x maximum and it take 3 hours to make a Backup...

I changed the speed option set to 6x, 12x but nothing to do... my DVD drive SH-D162C is new i buy it today.

My computer is Compaq Presario Series 5000:
AMD DURON 800mhz
512mb RAM
Direct X 9.0c

What can i do to up the speed ?

what are you trying to do make a backup of a backup?

No, Make a backup of an original Battlestations disk.

Detail : my SH-D162C is set as Slave ! and my burner Master.

that usually is the IDE mode is not DMA anymore (has gone to PIO).

if that does not work, you can try you shd162c as master.

i want to cry.... i am now crying... i want to format all my DD and reinstall a new Windows... Vista perhaps.... with my 800mhz Duron and 512mb RAM :S !!! i'm crying...

You need to be in DMA (NOT XXX PIO)

first i was in DMA mode and it was the same things...

Now i formated all my HDD 100% and install a new Vista Pro Version.

change its position, primary/secondary and master/slave

make sure it is connected on your MB, not a card.
