Hi i have a Rainbow six vegas Disc (Original of course) and its cracked in the middle. Unfortuantely i never backed it up before i snapped it think my little bro got his hands on it. I tried backing it up on my SH-D162c and it reads first layer and errors second layer any ideas anyone??

Unfortunately if you do not have an original that can be read, there is nothing that we can do to help you, truly sorry . As you know all backup process at XS must start from the original.

Cheers so i guess the disc is Knackered then thanks for your reply, it aint cracked in the disc itself just the clear spindle area

if it is not cracked in the Dye area, you should be OK,
try slower speed in XBCr, schtrom or good old isobuster to extract it while you can.
