I think the problem is definitely due to software shortages and once some exclusive titles hit, you'll see this go up. However, the price point is still a big issue. Here (UK), the console is selling at 425GBP which is a lot of money to play a couple of exclusive titles.
yeh, especially when you are buying little more than a X360 with some fancy bits attached. lets see... the X360 is selling at around £280 and the PS3 at £425. that is near enough twice as much that you are buying a PS3 (with some decent titles i must say, i would only want one for Final Fantasy and maybe KH3, but i suspect KH3 will go on Wii and X360) i hear the processing unit in the PS3 is working at around 60% and in the X360 it is working at 90% making the X360 more powerful, the X360 also has double the RAM (512mb) although this is shared for graphics too
no wars needed, but i think that there are obvious reasons why the PS3 is failing... too bad, i wanted one if they werent so goddam expensive, but hey, i got a X360 and lots of kick ass games are coming out this year for it
