My Raptors are finally in the playoffs!
Unfortunately the 3 teams I didn't want to see in the first round were Detroit, Miami, and New Jersey. We got New Jersey.
I think there is a good chance that San Antonio and Dallas may BOTH go down in the first round.

That was a really good game. Kept my attention for the full 48 minutes.

The championship belongs to one of 2 teams. Either LA or Spurs.

RAPS WIN RAPS WIN
Now to win at least one in Jersey.
Chicago is really surprising me by KILLIN the former champs.
Other than that no real news IMO.

phoenix played really well last night I think Houston, san antonio, and phoenix all have legitimate shots at winning the west.. hopefully golden state will knock out dallas but 4 wins is a lot to ask for. Chicago looks extremely good for the east as well.
Championship-- game prediction
Chicago V Houston with Houston winning in 6

Nice!
I wish I had the kahones to pick someone other than Detroit in the East, but I don't.

Of course I want my Raps to win it but if I had to put my money on it I'd have to go with the Pistons.
As far as I'm concerned the West is wide open. If I had to pick right now I'd pick Phoenix I think since Dallas/San Antonio will either be beat or beaten up after the first round.

Yep big win for San Antonio.
They seem to prove me wrong every year.
I just thought the Nuggets would be a bad matchup no matter who they were playing against... no disrespect to the Spurs.
I thought Golden State could beat Dallas because Dallas couldn't beat them during the regular system and Don Nelson has some kind of crazy psychological hold on that whole team, including the coach.
The Raps GOTTA win tomorrow!!

Yep, still lookin like Dallas is going down in the first round though.
Very interesting situation in the West now. Now that San Antonio has beaten Denver and Dallas is actually going down in the first round... my pick would have to be the Spurs.
Can you say Spurs Pistons rematch?

I'd watch that.
Also I'm in a good mood cause my Raps won tonight! Gotta win in New Jersey on Friday though...

Baron Davis is a superstar... pulled hamstring and still playing the entire game. Dirk quote "I guess i'll just have to take what they give me" are you serious?? You are the most valuable player in the league and your taking what an 8th seed defense is giving you, you need to create your own shots buddy and hey... i don't know play like you actually care about winning a championship. I mean I didn't like Dallas and mark Cuban to begin with but wow thats ridiculous

May 7 2007, 03:33 AM
Yeah that was pretty brutal, no matter what they did blood kept on finding a way to escape the bandaging.
Good game though. I remember last year I was all about Phoenix winning it all, probably because I'm a Nash fan. This year I'm a year older and wiser and realize that although San Antonio may not be as talented overall as Phoenix they have been together FOREVER and have won championships with pretty much the same guys.
Whoever wins the San Antonio/Phoenix series is in the finals. Might as well be the western conference finals.
Detroit and San Antonio in the finals.
I just said the word finals too many times.

That hit on Nash was disgusting. Stoudamire and Diaw getting a game for taking a step onto the court to see what was happening? Also disgusting.
I can't believe the Spurs came out on top after that.

but yeah it is a great series so far... lets see how the suns do without diaw and stoudemire... the spurs have others that can hit 3's, but im not sure the suns can do much without these guys... thomas, barbosa and bell arent
that good...

well its looking like.. the spurs have the championship in the bag now. Tim Duncan, Parker, and ginobli all playing good at once means the spurs can't be beat by ANYONE.
And Rashid pushed off... and Lebron got fouled 5 times.

Yeah yeah yeah, the Spurs will win it all... again.
The only way I will watch any of the games is if Lebron James is playing in the finals. If it's Detroit San Antonio I'll just assume the Spurs won it all and go outside.
