I've flashed the m8 on my 1.6b xbox with the solderless xenium gold installed. It runs fine from the xenium OS and everything boots well. However when I set it to default item then power on the xbox it still goes to the Xen OS. I thought all you had to do was set the flashed bios as the default item and then the Xen OS would be accessible by powering on with the eject button only.

How do I get the m8 to boot on startup rather than the xen OS (ive clicked "set default item" several times)?

Try updating the xenium OS (latest is 2.3.1 i think?) or try flashing a new bios.

xenium gold has the latest OS. and yes its 2.3.1

you are hitting the power button right? the eject button brings up the OS no matter whats set.

Instant Boot will also need to beENABLED from with the Xenium
Settings Menu to use this feature.
