Do any of you think it's possible to mod the Classic Controller to play Gamecube Games? For instance...take the Classic Controller and replace the connector with a Gamecube controller connector....meaning that all the buttons from the GC would have to be remapped to the Classic Controller buttons by splicing the wires...

Is this possible? It would be great to have ONE controller that can play ALL the VC and GC games on the Wii....instead of having so many lying around....plus, the Classic Controller is so much better than the Gamecube....with the button layout...

Nope, when in gamecube mode all wii functions are disabled.

i dont think it will be possible until wii homebrew is unlocked. if you notice when the console goes into gamecube mode all of the LED lights on the wii controllers turn off. i believe that the wii controllers are programmed to only be recognized when in wii mode. we will just have to wait.
