Ever since the upgrade of XBMP 2.3 to 2.4 everytime I click on the reboot button ( that yellow button) on the main XBMP menu it jumps to MS dashboard ! with the 2.3 version it used to boot back to the Evox dash as normal.

I cleared the XMBP folder as instructed and drop the content of 2.4 in it and still the same problem.

I even did the full format of the whole system with slayers 2.1 and then did the upgrade, again the problem remains.

I know the problem is from the New XBMP as noting elase had changed in the system.

I have even tried to compare the config files in the XBMP and could not see any apparent difference that would cause for the this unusuall behaviour.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the config.xml file, you can specify what dash you want to load on exit.

change it to evox.

had to replace

<dashboard>xboxdash.xbe</dashboard>


to

<dashboard>default.xbe</dashboard>
<shutdowntime>0</shutdowntime>
<sensitivity>0.2</sensitivity>
<xnsbuffer>8192</xnsbuffer>

change the tag where it says:

<dashboard>xboxdash.xbe</dashboard>

to

<dashboard>evoxdash.xbe</dashboard>
