I have halo 2. I want to make a backup from the original disc. I made a backup before, but the disc is dirty so I want to make another one. I deleted the raw file from my computer before but I still have the ss.bin file for the game on my computer. Is it possible to just use a regular dvd drive like a pioneer 112d to rip the game to the computer then combining it with the ss.bin file? Will that work?

no, you cant just rip and xbox game with an ordinary DVD drive.
