Hi!

Since softmodding my xbox (unleashx / v1.1) I can't play any of my live-enabled games with the network still enabled.
Obviously the games are looking to update the title etc, on seeing the modified bios it crashes.

I can still play my games, but it means disabling the networking - bit of a hassle!

Is there some way I can tell my games not to look for live?

Do you have the same issue if you cold boot the games, some mods disable LIVE access to prvent you getting banned, normally a cold boot of the game does the trick.

by cold boot I assume you mean without booting to the dash first.

Therein lies the problem then I'm sure. I'm attempting to run them off my hdd i recently installed. ( my originals using dvd2xbox )

After transferring my media over I wanted to put my 5 best games on there!

I'll live with removing the network cable in the meantime!
