i upgraded to vista yesterday and now everytime i load one of these programs it says runtime error 339 mscomctl.ocx not registered. i have downloaded different mscomctl.ocx files from the net and have registered them many times via run and cmd but everytime i start these programs it still comes up with the same prob, please can someone help?

THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED BY A SIMPLE TASK.
TO GET THESE PROGRAMS WORKING IN VISTA ENABLE UAC IN CONTROL PANEL
(CONTROL PANEL - USER ACCOUNTS - TURN USER ACCOUNT CONTROL ON OR OFF).

That's not a simple task, your cutting your legs off there man. Try rightclick and run as Administrator rather than completely disable UAC, it is there for a reason.
