I have a lt opx which was running great in 1.6 had a hard drive die in 1.0 and now need to instal chip in 1.0 perfect install tripple checked using pin header and direct solder. They say the chip is compatible with both version but my question is, is it a 1 time detect and then it locks to that bios mode. The chip is set to boot to the smartxx os screen so it is in no way bios issuies other than the smart xx itself

I would update the Smartxx OS @ http://www.smartxx.com/download/download_01.php

and also put a 1.0-1.5 bios on it just to make sure.
