i know this is not the right place to ask this question but i need help.

the problem is that my dvd-rw drive will no longer read ANY blank media , it will play a film and it will read and write a cdr.

could the lazer inside be broke ???? if so how mutch would it cost???

if any1 has any ideas of what the prob could be plz let me know.

Have you tried updating the firmware on it? If so, did it work before you did? If not... i dunno

try blowing canned air into your drive. maybe the laser is just a little dirty. worked for me
