I recieved an xbox 360 from a friend who was recieving 3-red lights,and well i told him that i might be able to fix it with the x-clamp replacement method since i fixed mine as well and its working flawlessly.....

I bought it home only to find that the error code is "0110"--> (memory problem)?

So will the x-clamp replacement work on this?i mean its not 0102 or anythin related to the GPU/CPU right?

Its build date is 09/2006,so all the rubber pads etc are already placed on the memories....shud i try to remove them and place new 4mm width ones?

What say u guyz?

X-Clamp + Cooling mod. The heat isn't dispersing via the heatsinks so it stays under it heating up the board.

I read the Error Code Faq and it says 0110 is a memory overheating error? The 0102 is a GPU error that needs xclamp replacement to fix. How can the Xclamp fix a memory overheating error?

Guess what else is on the board besides the gpu and cpu...

Anyway the faq clearly states that it is not 100% proven so it's easy:

3Rol? --> X-clamp+Cooling!

Dude! I had a 0110 and 0102 and lawdawgs tut worked. I wouldve done RBJTECHs but lawdawgs method requires less work.
