I read all around and couldn't find what I specifically would like to know(I'm sure its out there somewhere, My apoligies for being lazy after a few hours ;0).
Basically, I want to connect my Xbox1 HDD to my PC and copy saves to it, so I can later send them to my 360.
I don't have a memory card(plus some of my games were HDD saves only), and would prefer to leave the xbox entirely out of the equation if possible, since I've long since lost the controllers/ac/av cords for it.
Any simple steps to connecting the HDD to my PC and taking files off it?
Any help will be appreciated =)

If I recall correctly, Xplorer360 can do that (both steps of it, in fact).

If this is a harddrive from an unmoded Xbox, or softmoded Xbox, it will be locked (it may be locked even if it is a hard moded Xbox). You will first have to unlock the drive. Then Xplorer360 should work fine.
There are several methods to unlock the drive, just do some surching. You can try hotswaping,or use a game save exploit to get the eeprom then use XBoxHDM, or some other way

First thing you will need to do is unlock the HDD. The simplest way to do this is with a xbox eeprom reader, this device can be found on ebay.
