Okay, after months of searching I finally took the plunge. At just under 133K it doesn't have the lowest mileage but it is solid, clean and most importantly NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!! I got it for $7,109 after tax, title, ect. which isn't too bad seeing as how nada's middle range value for this vehicle with the mileage was $7,300. Anyways, here it is. One dark green 1995 Lexus SC300:

It is. Thing is that SC300/400s aren't exactly a dime a dozen vehicles and finding one that meets that criteria for the price is pretty dang rare. I found a couple of SC400s (The 8-Cylinder version) but they had 165K or more miles and seemed like they were pretty beat up (and I believe that both of them were automatic). The inline 6 supra engine that is under the hood of my car more than makes up for it being an automatic though and it is a very smooth moving/shifting vehicle. So I get a fun performance car and smooth shifting luxury machine all in one.

Hey. Nice looking Lexus even if it is an import. HAHA. I kinda miss my Lexus. Wouldn’t mind sporting another one, but I dunno if I could drive some thing that low to the ground again. Had great luck with my LS400 and it was a solid car. Have fun, and be nice to the little pedal or tickets are sure to come, trust me.

No arguments there. That sucker can do 110 and feel like most cars do at 75MPH. Unfortunately I won't be keeping it for long. See the other threads for details. I really do like the car but I just can't afford the double whammy of payments and maintenance.

Well, so much for that plan. Here it is almost 2 years later and I own the sucker free and clear. It still has some issues but for the most part is still a very solid running machine. Just put 1000 miles on the thing this week driving to the coast and it did quite well.

got any plans for it?
if it was mine I'd at least re-badge it with proper "Soarer" badges

maybe see if I could import some of the optional factory aero from Japan.
