hi fellas i got this problem, a friend of my give to me his xbox because he F... up trying to put a windows on it so he trow the HDD to trash. So i get the xbox and i wanna repair it, I try to repair the xbox with my xbox trying to use the EPROM from my xbox and use a new HDD and i get error 6 i need help to get that done fix please help me, i need it soon

You MUST use the EEPROM for the Xbox which you are trying to fix. You cannot use any other Xbox's EEPROM, as it will not work...the EEPROM is unique to each and every Xbox. Since you don't have a copy of the EEPROM of the Xbox you are trying to fix, your options are down to either hotswap, modchip, or EEPROM reader.

You could swap the eeprom chips too.

^^^yep. can you get the hdd? you could hotswap it and get the eeprom.bin then use xboxhdm to build a new hdd and lock it.

i can't find the HDD
so how i can get the eeprom from the motherboard
or swap the eeprom chip
the xbox i got are

1.6 (the one i get for the fix)
1.6 (the one i use)

from all modded, the one i have to use is...(the chip i have to use)

YGPM jester.gif anywho swapping eeprom chips is no small feat. but theres a thread in the xbox1 B/S/T.
No way to get eeprom from motherboard i dont think.

then how i can repair the xbox if i can't get the eeprom from the motherboard...
and which one is the best chip for modded the xbox ...

hey i can make a clear-mos for xbox motherboard and start from new like a factory

If you are willing to put in a chip, you don't need the EEPROM!

What one is the best, there are about 30 different answers to that! I like the X2.6CE. Easy to install, super good, and not as expensive as the X3.
