okay well i have a 2Wire DSL router that has one USB port and one Ethernet port and Wifi connectivity. I currently am hooked up with my xbox connected via ethernet and my computer conected via WiFi will this work or will i have to connect my comp through USB?

your saying you have the xbox and the PC plugged into the router ? .. that will not work if the PC is wireless to the xbox .. you can either plug the xbox into the PC with a crossover cable or wire the PC to the router , USB should work ..
