I've noticed that there was a minor update to the new firmware even though mine flashed succesfully I was going to flash it with the slightly modified one using iprep etc. AS the new firmware does not except the 0800 disc burnt on single layer disks I understand i need to burn it on DL.
I'm getting a few messages using imgbrn and don't know how to reply:
the image is small anough to fit on the first layer
images are normally burnt with equal ammounts of data written to each layer
would you prefer i stay away from the norm and stick to using the first layer
if I choose no it says the image is smaller than the media specified do you want to write it to multiple layers anyway.
Could someone help with these questions it's asking as I don't want to waste the dl disk. Has anyone tried using a single layer disk for any reason on the new fw just incase it does work ?
