I have a chipped 360 (yes chipped) not flashed from www.premodded.com. It has broken and im sending to microsoft. Is this ok or will they notice the chip and refuse to fix it? Should I try and remove the chip or will opening my console void warrenty?
Any help would be great, im not that good with a screwdriver but if thats my only option I will try.

Anyone live near Bristol in the UK that could help me remove the chip?

if itrs chipped then it must have already been opened >. already lsot warranty

most liekly the chip is sodlered on and if you say you're not handy with a screwedriver (thats a lol for me anyway - grab twist ?) then you'll probably end up burning down your local community trying to get it off

as for MS spotting it - id hope so (not for your sake but just to prove MS isnt useless) - they *may* just chuck it on a pile of broken ones and send you a refurb one and only later (possibly too late?) they'd notice

however they may still be able to bone you for it

personally, i wouldnt try it - not only because it is cheeky - but because it could ahve serious ramifications...
ive sent you a PM aswell

Exactly, if its modded its not going to get past ms.

You should know that if you modify anything now days that you are going to loose the warranty, but trying to fake that it wasn't modded in the first place is a big no no.

Trying to sneak a moded console into the MS waranty program is FRAUD

you voided your warranty when you opened it up
