hi all, first post here so will try and not be too noobish.

Got a hard modded xbox coming in the next few days and i have done some reading to try and get up to speed but got some questions.

The xbox is coming with evo-x dash but looking on this forum there are better dashes to use.Is it just a case of burning another dash with auto install to disc then putting in to the xbox or does it require bios flashed etc.

Also got some emulators installed including mame and i have d/l some roms, i know i can use ftp(which i will need to get set up and get some cables) or burn to disc.Just curious if the roms can be put onto a pro duo memory card using a usb card reader then using the same reader put onto the xbox h/drive.


Hopefully when the xbox comes and i get a chance to play about with it everything becomes more obvious.

ok so in my opinion xbmc > evox
you should be able to isntall it fairly easily (there are tuts EVERYWHERE)

ive got no idea what that pro duo thing is
but the xbox is capable of reading up to 4GB filesystem size drives via USB as far as i know, but you'll need to splice into the controller ports

personally, id use FTP (or waste a disc)
