I just realised the importance of a good setup on this game. It's unbelievable, the difference you can get from setting up your car properly is insane. I shaved 6 seconds of my lap time round Laguna Seca with this setup happy.gif

So this is the setup I'm currently using for my Nissan 350 Fairlady. Its power is 478kW weighing 1151kg and is RWD, so no drivetrain change.

Im wondering if someone could give a good setup for a Vis Integra Type-R Fully customized with a RWD drivetrain. The setup would be for circuit racing.

Give my setup a try. I've done it on two high powered RWD cars now and it works well on both. It might just need a small amount of tweaking as it is a lighter car so a little softer springs maybe and softer damping.
snoopy22
Ok thx ill give it a try when i can !!!

So you think i should soften springs maybe and soften damping. By this you mean lowering the numbers ?
Boiker
Yeah just lower the numbers slowly at first and testing the car out each time. I only say that because it is a lighter car, but not a lot lighter.

just wondering what the gearing off each invidual gear 1,2,3,4,5....

Thanx

I'd recommend taking the time and learning to tune, even if just the basics, instead of slapping other people's numbers in. Tuning doesn't always make the car better as much as it makes the car handle more to the liking of the driver. Different people have different driving styles and skill levels and you're not necessarily getting the most out of your car using someone else's setup.

True that, i know my car parts well and i understand a bit of the basic of tuning but for fine tuning, you know the one that lets you get the winning distance, i may be a bit of a noob...
