I have a v1.0 xbox and recently soldered the pin header on. I have read all the manuals but still have some questions:

1) Which direction does the Gold chip seat on the pin header? The long side pointing in the xbox or out?
2) What is the point of the D0 wire? Is this the blue and white wires that attach to the chip? The manuals state there should be a black and blue, but mine is white and blue. I assume that white and black are interchangeable?

1) The xenium gold has the longer side pointing to the outside of the xbox


2) the d0 wire is used to ground a point, and when that point is grounded it tells the xbox to boot from the LPC, which is where the modchip is, so it boots the alternate bios. And i would think that black and white are interchangable, since both yours, and the guides at least on of them is blue, so that means the white should be the same as black

the "X" in Xenium is towards the back of the xbox.
