I don't think that isn't a very fair statement.
Larry Hryb pays for, and runs his own website. He just works for Microsoft and therefore knows more than most about whats happening. He is obviously biased this way, but will happily talk about competitors, and their products (as this weeks podcast shows).
I dont want to appear a fanboy or anything like that, but it definately isn't 'Microsoft Owned' as you put it!

They should probably be spending more time redesigning the Xbox 360 than their website IMHO...
I checked it out... I don't even remember what it looked like before. lol.. Honestly, do a lot of people use xbox.com?? Even if I was xbox live obsessed, XBList was pretty piamp for that.

Its hardly any different...the main page looked very empty to me
I don't notice any difference, it's just silver instead of green, but of course in Microsoft land that is a huge change.
