Just got my ps3 yesterday and an additional controller. The problem with the controller from the box is that it presses buttons, like without me doing anything a random button will be pressed at a random time.
For example, when writing my name in the normal XMB, suddenly a space will be written.
Another example, when playing ridge racer (my only game), triangle keeps pressing and therefore the camera keeps changing (like every 15 seconds on average)...
I dont have any other bluetooth interference (phone's off)
and also microwave, etc is all elsewhere.
Only wireless network is avaialble in the same room.
Is this a common problem? should i return the controller?
Btw is warranty standard with the ps3? i never got a warranty card (but its china
)
