I'm a total newbie to modding.... I just installed smartxx V3 with the xapter solderless adapter to my xbox.
I flashed evolutionX m8 into Bank L1.
And I have a seagate 500GB hard drive, brand new and never been used.

Now.... basically I want to install my hard drive to replace the old one. However, I've read people writing about something special needs to be done if I have a hard drive larger than 137GB (or something like that). I also want to copy my saved games from my old hard drive to the new one. I also want to be able to put my games onto the hard drive.

could someone help me on this?

Ftp to the old hdd and backup the C drive and E:\UDATA\ and E:\TDATA on to your PC. Then put your new hdd in and go to SmartXX Config>>HDD-Disk Tool. Once there, you will need to format all and then lock the hdd. Then transfer back your backup and a dashboard. Once you have the dashboard running, you will need to run Xbpartitioner and format the F drive with 32k cluster. (Im assuming your bios is .06 [F takes the rest])
