Right I've only once got my drive to dump my original firmware using the bad flash method. And after 30 + more tries of getting to actually flash it i've officially given up So i was wondering if there was a diffenrent method where i didnt have to wait to turn it back on for it to start dumping, because it simply wont work for me.

There is the VCC trick.. but it requires soldering...
If you got it to read once.. you have everything set up right and it should flash...
I know it canbe frustrating and tempormental... updating your PC BIOS has helped.. other people disconnect all other IDE/SATA devices others have said it helps to have them plugged in.
