Do I need to set my booktype to DVD-ROM? None of the tutorials say I do. Im using an ASUS DRW-1608P3S. Apparently it auto booktypes. But it says Booktype:DVD +R DL in Imgburn. Currently burning a backup. So Ill see how it goes.
It won't actually display the booktype being set to DVD-ROM until after it is burned. Use http://www.dvdinfopro.com to verify. As for your burner check out the firmware page http://rpc1.org and see what it says about your particular model. As for setting the booktype to DVD-ROM I would strongly recommend doing so to ensure the best possible compatibility with your 360.

Thanks. Worked though. So I guess I dont need to crossfirmware hack my PC drive.
Your drive is flashed Im assuming right? If you were using a DVD drive modchip (Xeno or NME) you wouldnt have to even worry about bitsetting.
Doesn't make much sense to switch from a flashed drive to a modchip though.
