I hate to create a whole topic for this but you deserve it..I love what you've done w/ PM3 lately with the new list views and the new font...I've applauded you to myself but then today you change the home screen logo with the XBMC logo...I love it...It didn't have to grow on me at all, it was love at first sight...So props to you and the whole XBMC team and keep up the good work...

We as the team decided that we needed a face...a personality to what we do in the background and, therefore, created Jezz_X. We thought it would be clever!

I must admit I like the "X" concept, with a little "Jezz"....

Yep, It all started with the 1st alpha bot called Jezz_I, too many bugs so next came Jezz_II. That fix alot of bugs but introduce new problems. Jezz_III was followed.Then Jezz_IV was released as the 1st beta, but was very slow. Jezz_V next, then Jezz_VI.. well u get the picture.

what we have here is Jezz_X, fairly stable but still not as fast as we like. we have high standard. hopefully Jezz_XI will fulfill that for us..

lol R111, so if this Jezz_X bot is used by mostly males, doesn't it make my rumour true that its gay???

Thanks man I like the new logo too but I can see many people complaining about it when the next t3ch comes out. People often seem resistant to change but although I made the logo it was a team decision to add it for the reasons I said in the log

Now I just need to think of a way to get rid of the freckly bit the main home buttons are on ssssshhhhhhhh

I actually think it looks ok. A little more plain then before, but it IS the official logo after all. I was about to post a screenshot of it, but i figured the T3CH version will be out any day, and people can see it then.
Plus, i'm not good with spoiling stuff anyway.

Well, that's more kind of what i meant, is it's not as subtle looking as the older one. Just kind of sticks out. I'm content with it though if it's not going to change. Looks ok to me.

I'm looking forward to change.... My two favorite skins (both great) are Vision and PM3, what I don't like about in PM3 is the cluttered feel with the whole left side of the screen taken up with the speckly list thing... And what I don't like about vision is that it seems like too much wasted space, So something between would be cool.

of course another thing in PM3 is that I don't like not having a direct button to emulators or games (though I made a skin edit for this)... This of course all being off topic...

it's a lot better visually in my opinion. The old one didnt really go that well with the overall XBMC branding, although it did serve a purpose at the time.

Hopefully you'll all like this one now...it DOES grow on you I promise!

Did I ever show you guys my concept for Project Mayhem 3 home page? The current home page was the beta. I helped chokeman with a few elements, the 3D OSD design and such, here are some images from pre-PM3 release:

As you can see we went in a slightly different direction and I split off to create Blackbolt Classic, which has obviously been totally redone by Jezz_X for XBMC 2.0.

but damn is that sexy! wow BlackBolt, i absolutly love the backround image, the color scheme, & that OSD is fawkin slick jeez... not a fan of the menu items on the home page, but everything else is absolutly amazing dude! how come you never went thru with this design as a alternative for PM3 users? I'm sure I would have picked it over PM3, and I love PM3... can't stop looking at it! you have some graphical talent there Blackbolt, which we all have known for a while
