Hey ya'll stupid noobie question. Try as I might I can't seem to find the answer. I just did the king kong shader hack on my 360. Booted to Gnome Live cd. I am having fun learning linux. My goal is to get linmugen working. Well anyways. This is a really dumb question but so far I am only running off the live cd. Trying to get my bearings. getting used to terminal etc. Now I am prompted to login after the linux initialization. What am i supposed to use for my username and password? I have tried Root user name Toor password. root user name just pressing enter at password (as was suggested to me) but no luck. Do I have to set my own password prior to getting to the login? I tried to reset the root password in terminal but it says I don't have permission. Is this something I can only do if the live cd is installed to my hd? Please help!

Login at user gentoo, open terminal, and write:

sudo su

..and you have root prov.
