we got alot of good titles that will be released in the next 4 months

damn it i have october the 16 17 18 19 20 booked off to play this game

why cant game developers set realistic dates for releases ! first spore (yeah i know pc game but its relevant) then two worlds now GTA4 i just wish they would release it then patch it atleast that way we would get to play it ontime even if its a little buggy

mind you HMV havent canceled my preorder so maybe the delay is only effecting the us edition (which granted sucks for the us but it would be novel for us to get a game before the usa for once lol)

You act like the developers are out to get you. They set a realistic date in their eyes and if problems arise (which they normally do), they push it back. It's definitely disappointing. Hell, I was one of the many HL2 fans back in the day waiting and waiting and waiting for the game. But when it came out it was a polished product.

Give them some time and you'll ALWAYS be happier with the end result.

Naa, I don't believe it they are waiting for more PS3's to be out on the market after Xmas to cash in on some $.

must admit that crossed my mind but gta4 would sell more ps3`s and would make more money before christmass

dam GTA IV is the second game in my mostwanted list after lost odyssey and then there is halo3

no idea how accurate that is, but definitely an interesting concept that the 360 version was delayed due to the ps3 version taking longer then expected and taketwo being required to release both versions at the same time.

Only people that know are the developers and they have not stated why yet.

Oh.. this sucks! Iv preordered a copy from block busters and they are still saying that there guaranteed release date hasnt changed.. Gives me more time for fable 2 i guess!

Call me a conspiracy nutjob but i think its a classic Rock* marketing ploy,Wishful thinking for a release in October
