Looked all over forums and found different answers non of witch helped, but still sorry if im double posting.

I extracted xbox 1 game iso, splinter cell: da. With mulleter i patched it with ss and default.xbe and used layer break but didnt have pfi and dmi. Burned it to sl verbatim dvd and the game boots and loads but locks up at the end of the loading screen. Now all i want to know is this: does game lock up because its burned on sl dvd or because i didnt put pfi and dmi.

dmi, pfi should not prevent it from running (even more if it already booted) , must be another problem with the backup.

Suggest you never have any files patched.

do the iso as a Xbox 1 title to be played DL on a X360 with XBC (7 GB file) , from that iso use mulleter to do the DVD-5 so no patching is needed.

Also note you could just burn it as DL, but making a SL is fun.

I had the game on sl dvd but it didnt work-didnt even load, so i extracted iso on hdd and patched it as i said. Now it boots both from sl and dl but it locks up right after first ubisoft animation when loading starts. I made two patched isos, one for sl and one for dl, both boot but lock up. strange

p.s. i think(not sure) that first time i extracted iso from dvd that i used dvd decrypter, i know its older program, maybe thats wrong. Never used it to burn the images, i burned them with imageburn and clonecd.

Okay lets try this quickly step by step, please tell me what not to patch, if i understand you this is what i should do:

I have iso on hdd from original disc that didnt work on x360.
I load it in mulleter and pick create dvd9 iso zeroed padding.
Next i have to choose which xbe file to use load from file or leave original-this i need advice cause i use to load xbe i downloaded from net.
Next i always used universal security sector.
Dmi.bin and pfi.bin didnt have so i put no stealth.
And for layout i downloaded it from the net also-should i just use the option not to alter layout?

help, to many combinations and i already burned 3 dl dvds and 5 sl

any work starting from a previous backup or HDD (already a backup) is not good (and against our rules). Backup must start from original.

use your x360 drive (or kreon) like for a DL backup and XBC, put the original in the drive and do complete backup.

you get the iso 7Gig file for a DL backup.
1) choice one burn on DL
2) choice two run thru mulleter to get a DVD5 that will run as SL on 5.3


and remember no backup from backup
