my xbox tray won't open I have a samsung drive, I tried to open the xbox then I opened the drive and it works as long as I don't put the drive's case back on, it looks like the tray gets stock in the drive cover, does anybody now how to solve this problem ?

well there is a small hole to the left of the p/e buttons use a small pin to eject tray.

It will llikely be the magnet in the top spindle. Does the drive eject when a cd is in the drive? If so, then it should be the magnet that is the culprit.

To overcome this put small pieces of tape on the surface of the top spindle, make sure they are flush, and be sure that the spindle still moves freely with the tape applied. Keep adding pieces until the drive ejects.

If you would prefer not to tape the top spindle, just place an old CD that you do not care about in before you power down, this way a game disc will not be potentially scratched on power up, and the cd will keep the strength of the magnet in the spindle from creating as strong of a contact with the drive hub.

Good Luck

I have to admit in rare instances the drive trays on the Samsung drives get stuck due to the top cover, but in 98% of the cases its actually due to the tray drive belt being stretched. You need to replace the drive belt.
The right drive belt size will be: 22mm x 1.2mm x 1.2mm.

just open it up and take it apart. clean it and re-grease the moving parts and it wont get stuck anymore

Won't make a razoo of difference.
The tray drive belt will definately be the culprit.
