do all premium hdmi consoles have the new heatsink ?

Yes, you "should" be good to go.

I just got mine from BB today, it has a manufacturing date of 7-5-07 and it HAS the new heatsink. From what I've read, this is the earliest manufacturing date for the pro with HDMI. I could be wrong though.

If you want to be sure, just check the date.

And did you know that it doesn't come with an HDMI cable??!?! I thought that was reather cheap of M$.

hdmi isnt so important for me - heatsink is the real deal and i thought hdmi was the indicator for it

It would make sense for the HDMI Premiums to have the new heat sink; they're so new

Just received my 360 back from M$ after sending it in for 3 red led's of death. I had even opened it and done the x-clamp repair only to have to resort to the towel trick before I sent it back. Not only did they not say anything about voiding my warranty, they sent me a brand new 360. The manufacturing date is 8-10-2007, talk about being brand new less than two weeks old. If only I was brave enough to open it up and see what the new design is?. Is there anyway to tell if it has the new heat sinks?
