I have made a backup of my king kong disc and hacked it using KKpatcher, and checked the MD5 hash of the shader files, and they match the onces given in the thread about the subject.

The backup boots fine and when I press start, the game loads and ejects the tray a little after.

BUT when I put in my linux cd nothing happens, I think I can hear the cd spinning up a bit, but nothing compared to the game disc.

I burned the gentoo-livecd-xenon-beta-v2.iso and the MD5 hash checked out. I tried it on 2 different cd-rw discs and a dvd-rw in 2 different burners.

So what is my problem?

#EDIT

Also I have tried using both component and composite video output, do I need to use VGA or what?
