For those of you with the elite or new premium systems, does hdmi really make the picture/audio that much better than the red/green/blue hd cables? I've never played on a 360 using hdmi so I'm just wondering before I buy one.

from what i hear VGA is still better than HDMI =/

and most will say that Cables -> HDMI is not noticible... i guess it has alot to do with the quality of your TV.

I use to have the premium with the vga cable, and then i traded it in and got an elite and now use HDMI and i must say that i do notice that the picture does look alot sharper and the colors look much better with more depth. The only thing that sucks is that my monitor is not HDCP compliant so i cannot watch my hd-dvd movies thru hdmi, i cant even freakin watch movie trailers that i download off of the marketplace! I F**king hate the MPAA! Oh well, its not like their stupid little HDCP and AACS master copyprotection is stopping me from connecting my 360 hddvd drive to my computer and ripping the hddvds to wmv vc-1 so that i can stream them from my computer to my 360 and still get to watch them thru hdmi in their digital glory.....

I hope i can watch movies and stuff on my tv through hdmi....i have a 32" sharp aquos lcd
