the game is super cool though. best to come out so far, thats hands down.

^^ lol now you know how i felt about my rol wen that went missing for a few days, I thought it was gone forever!.....I have nearly completed bioshock...amazing game but i still like gears of war. Only because of the multiplayer aspect.

Its a promotional show - nobody would go if they are only showing old games. New unreleased games get the crowds in.

I noticed two things..

No best "Xbox game" award.
New/unreleased games winning awards = lame.

A well deserved award for Bioshock. The best game for the 360 so far, IMO.

I got it brand new on GameFly. I could buy it for practically 20 bucks cheaper than retail, but I dont know if this games a keeper. Once Im done with it, will I really go back and do it again? Dunno...

"Best game for the 360...So far" is what I'd classify Bioshock as seeing as how halo 3 is around the corner, which may change that ^

IMHO, Bioshock wasn't very good. I wasn't a fan of the controller layout, the story line was pretty damn farfetched. and the gameplay wasn't even that great.

But I'm not here to rain on everyone's parade.. that's just my opinion.

I'll probably end up getting it because my friends will get it..

But with Halo 3 coming out soon, it's not going to get played more than twice.

I'm sure it deserves it too! I just wish System Shock 1 would come to the DS now, and System Shock 2 would get a graphical overhaul then a re-release for the Wii and or 360.

I'm only the 2nd person to disagree with this? The demo was laaaaame. Way overhyped for your typical hack 'n' slash FPS with your typically "unique" storyline. Seriously. I've shot zombies before. Moving right along...

Scary like comdemed and yes its a hack fps but the weapons and upgrades are like we've never seen before. You have your guns and shit like all other games, but the electro bolts, fire, telekinesys, etc.. Are just awesome and well implemented into the game. The story is hard to believe, but come on aren't they all.... Like Halo, a big halo ring in space or Gears of Wat, with giant bugs and zombie looking aliens. You have to let yourself become apart of the story to believe it. No online which is the only thing that hurts the game since no replay value, when I finish it I'm trading it in

But by far the best game for Xbox (xbox360/xbox1) period.

Nice to know I'm not alone here. I mean the visuals are ok, but that doesn't make a game. Game play feels clunky. I put it down to finish beating The Darkness 30 minutes into the demo. Does it get better or something?

The demo is different slightly compared to the full game.. i decided to go with the 5 day rental first to give it a try. The game isn't anything new.. aside from a few powers. I do like it though.. I have always like these dark shooter games... kinda reminds me of Doom 3 for the xbox meets Prey for the 360. It is definetly worth playing, and is good filler until Halo 3, or GH3 comes out! )

Best 360 game huh? I liked it, but it's not the best. BS widescreen problems alone should've been enough to keep it from getting #1. For those who dont know what I'm talking about click HERE. I expected more to be honest, but I did enjoy it for several days. Maybe I'm just jaded in my old age..

Maybe all ye guys complaining about the "Demo" should go try the full game to know why it's so good.

Yeah, except they didn't even have the actual game this time, just the latest beta build (PES). They might as well have just gone with "Best Xbox 360 Game: GTA4".

Quite advanced for the 1960's intelligent bots and all. The game is good for the variety of powers you can get. Makes you think I played level 1 first time and got slaughtered because I didn't click to use the lightening on the water to kill the enemies (except first 2 for achievement). So much to do!

Best DS Game: EYE TRAINING

Some of these games rated are not even finished yet so they are awarding on unfinished previews. The finished ones may be better or worse. Bioshock looks good to me, but not something I would buy. (Crap at and sick of FPS)

I've been playing it for about 2 days now, it's pretty intense, but the controller layout can be quite confusing when you are getting railed on from 3 different directions. Having played FPS's now for so long I picked the normal setting yet I still seem to get my @$$ kicked by those. "Big Daddies"

Anyone who complains about clunlyness should turn off frame limiting , it really speeds things up and makes you feel like your running the best hardware in the world (especially when you are playing at 1080P on a 52" display)

overall it's a very fun game, not to mention involved , first game I should have read the book on.

It is sort of sad that the best game on the PS3 is also available on the PS2.

Look at halo2.

As for BioShock it was ok but not as good as <insert over played popular FPS here>.

This is a perfect example of a game that doesn't get even close to all of the hype. The graphics are on par with GOW, but as said above, doesn't MAKE the game. This game blows... save your money.

I've quite enjoyed Bioshock. Some games i'm a little slow at figuring out the control layout, but bioshock's was relatively easy. I don't do a whole lot of online play.... So I'm ok with non-multiplayer games.

I think the last time I enjoyed a FPS like this was Doom 3 or return to wolfenstein. I'm a fair bit into the game now.. I'll have to see how it ends. This and Oblivion and Burnout Revenge are my favorite 360 games thus far.

Aye, thats what I thought. The demo looks good but certainly not the Best 360 Game Award. WTF!
