i modded my xbox1, but still consider myself a complete noob to all of this. i have been looking around and see a lot of different modchips, for my first xbox i used a xecuter, seemed to work good, was wondering which modchip you guys prefer for a noob to play backed up games? thanks

just flash your firmware with ixtreme 1.2. its better then a modchip and its free.

if i go that route, will i have to buy a pci card or any other stuff? i would like to do this the cheapest, but most effecient way. the only way i found to use xtreme is having to buy a pci card or a chipset

just check the tutorials, its depends on what kind of dvd drive you have and various factors like that. my onboard SATA worked fine for my hitachi drive (flashed it from 2 different motherboards, neither gave me an issue)
